\nA manager with years of experience in the automotive industry behind him took on the challenge of importing into the public service arena and a complex ASL principles that are now widespread in industry but still little known in health care.
\nTogether with a staff of motivated professionals and through carefully planned reorganization actions, the time devoted to patients has been greatly increased, the way drugs and other consumables are managed has improved, and medical and surgical lines have been reorganized.
\nThe results achieved involved improvements in both efficiency, staff satisfaction, and the quality of services provided to citizens.
